The EKU College of Health Sciences celebrated Scholars day on April 18th.  More than 125 research posters were presented during the event.  The Department of Health Promotion and Administration  The Outstanding Graduate Poster recipient was Anna Meurer.

The spring 2017 initiation of newest members of Eta Sigma Gamma.  EKU has the second oldest chapter (Beta) of Eta Sigma Gamma in the country. The mission of Eta Sigma Gamma is "promotion of the discipline by elevating the standards, ideals, competence and ethics of professionally prepared men and women in Health Education."

Health Fair 2017

Our students participated in the 2017 Health Fair on March 22, 2017 here at EKU.  They covered a variety of topics from Blood Pressures to Zika Virus.  We are proud of all our students.  Great job all!

HSA Graduate named one of the 2017 Fellows by the New Leaders Council (Kentucky Chapter)

Katherine Woods, a native of Pineville, KY is an Epic Certified Health Information Management Analyst at Baptist Health Corporate in Louisville, KY. As an Epic Certified HIM Analyst, she implements and maintains Epic systems and databases to ensure optimum performance. In addition, she is responsible for facilitating system updates, new releases, and system enhancements.


Alumni News - Rebecca Gillis

Rebecca Gillis is the Director of Public Health Protection and Safety at the Kentucky Department for Public Health.  Ms.


Karen Baum and Jennifer Costanzo receiving their KAHPERD award on November 13, 2016. Mrs. Baum received the Life Member Award and Ms. Costanzo received the Outstanding College Health Education Student Award.

Callie Lemaster, a Public Health major pursuing the 3+2 option was among the 2016 Homecoming Court.  She was selected as first runner up for EKU Homecoming Queen.  Congratulations to Callie!
