Myron Douglas

Mr. Douglas, who has emerged as a health communications specialist at the CDC, credited the faculty and staff of the EKU Department of Health Promotion and Administration “for their pouring of knowledge and wisdom into me.” A stint as graduate assistant under Dr. Michael Ballard “allowed me to implement some of my first health communication and health marketing campaigns.” And he attributed much of his “success and sanity” to his academic and research adviser, Dr. Laurie Larkin. “Her experience and the passion for public health that she pours into her students is simply amazing, and I hope I show my appreciation for her in work that I do every day.”
