Health Promotion & Administration Students Win Study Abroad Scholarships for Summer 2019
The EKU Department of Health Promotion & Administration had two students that won Study Abroad Scholarships for summer 2019. According to EKU Stories “In EKU’s annual Spin the Wheel Scholarship event, students enter online and then hope to beat the odds to have their names called. Those who do, spin the wheel to find out where they will be studying for the summer. This year, the options were Asia, Germany, Latin America, the British Isles, Israel, Egypt or Morocco, Spain, Slavic Europe and the popular “student’s choice” and “president’s choice.” A total of 620 students were eligible to win this year. Adriana Fisher, a sophomore Health Services Administration major, will be traveling to Segovia, Spain for two weeks in May to take a course in psychology.
Jena Doellman, a senior Public Health major, will be travelling to Ireland for two weeks in June to take a public health course focused on the Irish Perspectives of Occupational Safety
