Podcast: The Future of Public Health

The Department of Health Promotion and Administration is excited to announce its launch of a brand new podcast: The Future of Public Health. This podcast will feature episodes on different conversations about the Public Health of Eastern Kentucky University.

Episode 1: Racism is a Public Health Crisis (4/4/22 release date). This episode dives into a conversation between a diverse group of guests about how racism impacts areas of society and how that leads to negative health outcomes, especially among minority populations.

Episode 2: Health Equity: Mental Health Access (11/9/22 release date). This episode dives into a conversation about accessibility and current mental health resources on EKU's campus. The episode also highlights personal experiences, perceived barriers, and stigmas among college students.
