KPHA Award Winner Dr. Michelyn Bhandari
Please join with me in congratulating Dr. Michelyn Bhandari on her latest professional recognition. Dr. Bhandari was presented the Sara C. Stice Award by the Kentucky Public Health Association, March 29th at the annual convention in Louisville, Kentucky. The Sara C. Stice Award was established to honor an individual who has made an outstanding contribution in the field of health education in Kentucky. Sara C. Stice was state Director of Health Education from 1950 until her retirement in 1973. The Kentucky Public Health Association, Inc. was organized in 1949 as a nonprofit, independent, voluntary organization.
