Tanzania Internship life changing

The internship experience is invaluable. Did you know that we place students in a variety of settings each year. We also place students internationally as well. Alayna Gary, a Public Health student, completed her internship in Tanzania.

According to Alayna, “the opportunity to complete my internship this summer in Tanzania, Africa was one of the most rewarding and exciting moments of my life. I am so thankful for the EKU public health department for encouraging me to have this experience. Without the education I have received in this program I wouldn’t have been prepared to serve the Tanzanian people as effectively as possible. Being in Tanzania was one of the best experiences of my life and I can’t wait to see how this experience allows me to be a better public health professional.”
